Short Biography

I am currently serving as a Lecturer in the Department of Botany at Gopalganj Science and Technology University (GSTU), Gopalganj. My educational background began with achieving GPA 5.00 in both S.S.C. (2012) from Tarash Islamia Pilot High School and H.S.C. (2014) from Rajshahi College. I completed both my B.S. (2018) and M.S. in Botany specializing in Plant Genetic Engineering & Biotechnology (2019) at the University of Dhaka, securing 1st Position with a 4.00 CGPA in my M.S. and earning accolades such as the Quazi Abdul Fattah and Khurshida Banu Fattah Gold Medal and the Dean's Award.
I began my academic career at GSTU upon joining as a Lecturer in October 2023. Alongside my faculty role, I serve as an Assistant Provost at Shaheed Titumir Hall. I also represented GSTU in the University Grants Commission's 4-month intensive residential Professional Development Training for University Faculty under the HEAT Project (2025–2026).
To date, I have co-authored a peer-reviewed publication on rice characterization in Plant Tissue Culture and Biotechnology and presented research on genetic transformation at an international conference. Additionally, I have served as Principal Investigator on multiple funded research projects through the GSTU Research Center/UGC. My primary research expertise includes plant tissue culture, Agrobacterium-mediated genetic transformation, molecular biology techniques, and bioinformatics.
